The discounts are made possible by allocating a share of the profits from our full-price orders and applying grants towards discounted orders. Therefore, discounted orders are not always available. If you feel you are able to pay full price, we hope you will consider doing so to help someone who needs it more.

We understand that there are internet businesses offering telomere tests at lower prices than ours, and we can only let you speculate on the reasons behind that and the compromises it may entail. In our opinion, it is not possible to provide accurate, safe, and reliable testing at a lower price than we do. Here are some things to watch out for:

• Any company that asks for your age before the test.
  (There is no reason to request your age unless they are using it to make approximations rather than providing real results.)
• Suspiciously low prices, less than $175.
  (This is the estimated net cost for a reliable lab test if they employ properly educated scientific personnel, have adequate equipment, and follow safety and processing protocols.)
• Companies with domain names that appear quickly on the Internet with little track record.
